Google's first original branded documentary series tells the stories of extraordinary people around the world using technology to solve big problems in their communities.
To capture these incredible, diverse and very human stories - from indigenous tribes fighting deforestation via smartphones to child inventors tacking the Flint water crisis - we filmed on six continents, from Australia to the Brazilian Amazon to Nigeria, and rolled out each story via a short documentary, and deepened the storytelling through accompanying interactive photo essays, social campaigns, physical events, and more.
In addition to garnering over 1 billion cumulative views on YouTube and multiple awards from the Webbys to the Cannes Lions to the One Show, the series was supported by distribution partnerships with the New York Times, Pop-Up Magazine, Jimmy Fallon & Ellen DeGeneres.
