Airbnb Magical Trips Launch

In November 2016, Airbnb expanded beyond home sharing and introduced the concept of immersive experiences, hosted by locals around the world. The creative strategy was to establish true people powered marketing, with hosts’ passion and expertise front and center in every asset. Inspired by the movie industry, a visual system heroized hosts through bespoke movie posters while bringing the vibe and access of their experience to life through bespoke 30-second film trailers.

Over the course of two months, our team shot, edited, and finished 365 film trailers, 365 handcrafted posters, and 2,500 photos.
