Airbnb Adventures: Sweden

For the Airbnb Adventures launch, we celebrated Sweden’s law of allemansrätten–the freedom to roam public lands—by sending five strangers from different continents on a kayaking journey through the Baltic archipelagos. Footage from this short documentary was also used for the anthemic launch film, as well as across landing pages, emails, social campaigns, and PR.

Airbnb Adventures are multi-day trips to off-the-beaten path destinations—an antithesis to commoditized, exclusive, and predictable adventure travel, offering instead the opportunity to immerse in local cultures through hosted access.
